bench update 07 January 2024
I've gone back over some of the "Sherden" style sea peoples to add bronze to the inverse-v chest protection. These are the ugly HaT minis, to be sure, but I think they convey more of the original Ramses iii period "artist's eye" for the equipment. Our cultural baggage affects how we see things!

I remember painting these. They turn out nicer than one would expect.
ReplyDeleteCurrent artists seem to accept they are the same as Achaians, only with more practical shields. So I'm pretty happy to mix and match at some stage down the track.
