Today I squeezed in just enough time to one-highlight the mounts, and used the same color for lances. It's a mix of ochre, beasty brown, and light tan.
They are looking good. My painting is the same; little steps. Each bit that you add is bringing these out more. It's great how this brown has resulted in highlighting the black tails and points! Regards, James
